While you ask a brand new CEO to think about giving their retirement speech in eight or 10 years, it’s hanging how they describe their accomplishments. Most think about they’ve doubled the worth of their enterprise. They’ve improved the tradition, constructed a robust expertise pipeline, and helped select a succesful successor. Equally hanging, although, is that whereas they will think about these outcomes, they’ve little sense of the journey that can get them there.
